An energy industry veteran and a finance expert have been selected as the newest members of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas Board of directors.
With terms that began on Sept. 3, the newest members are Christopher A. Krummel of Houston and Kathleen S. McAllister of Austin. Krummel currently serves as a founding partner of Krummel, Ellis & Weekley Advisory, where he advises energy-related clients. McAllister, a former corporate CEO and CFO, currently serves as an independent director for Black Hills Corporation and Höegh LNG Partners.
ERCOT oversees the state’s primary power grid and is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors. It is subject to oversight by the Public Utility Commission and the Texas Legislature.
About Christopher A. Krummel
Krummel has more than 30 years of financial executive experience in the energy and construction industries. Prior to his current role as a founding partner of Krummel, Ellis & Weekley Advisory, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of McDermott International. Krummel received a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
About Kathleen S. McAllister
Kathleen S. McAllister has more than 15 years of CEO, CFO, and board director experience. Prior to her current work as an independent director for Black Hills Corporation and Höegh, McAllister served on the board of Silverbow Resources, The Metals Company, and Maersk Drilling. McAllister is a Certified Public Accountant, and a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow.
